Our qualified team will help you write your will reflecting your personal requirements and needs ensuring everything is in before your passing. Our short video will confirm why making a will is so important.

Why Should I Make A Will?

Making a will gives you and your family peace of mind.

Creating a will gives you the power to shape the fate of your estate after passing.  Writing a will ensures that only the ones you would like to benefit are the ones that actually do so. A will leaves clear instructions that circumvent any potential family conflict.
Making a will can protect third-party attacks, to ensure beneficiaries receive their inheritance at the best/optimal time.

Who Needs To Make A Will?

Everyone

  • Anyone who owns property or has any type of asset which you would wish relatives, friends or charities to benefit from. This can be the smallest gesture that means the most to you.
  • Anyone with dependent relatives
  • Anyone with relatives with a disability who have special needs
  • Anyone with elderly relatives
  •  Anyone with pets they would like taken care of

Doesn’t everything go to my next of kin automatically?

Unfortunately, not.

This is a common misconception and depending on the size of your estate, there are set rules which will be applied to determine who inherits and how much if you do not make a Will.

What If I Don’t Make A Will?

This is called dying intestate. There are set rules of intestacy which set out who will inherit and by how much if you don’t leave a valid will.

These rules may not reflect your wishes and in the worst-case scenario where relatives cannot be traced, your assets will be taken by the Crown. That means everything you’ve worked hard for would simply disappear. The rules of intestacy does not account for any friends or charities.
